iPad Pro Should I get the iPad Pro 2020?

My first generation iPad Air gave out 6 months ago and I have been holding on for the new iPad Pro but now I keep hearing about how it's barely an upgrade, how it still bends and how it might have a much better upgrade with miniLED later this year. Should I wait until then? Will it REALLY come out later this year with all the pandemic chaos?

Maybe just go with a 10.2" basic iPad for now and see if it meets your needs. When and/if Apple releases a new Pro design you can upgrade. What are you using now?

I think the current rumours are for a higher end (and more expensive) 12.9" potentially with an A14X, 5G and Mini LED. No such rumours for the 11" yet, but I would assume it wouldn't be too far behind.

I'd take this rumour with a large pinch of salt, especially with the current global situation. Could easily be pushed back to March 2021-ish. If you need one now, I'd say go for it.

You can always sell it down the line if you want to upgrade.

If you really need it now and are coming from anything other than a 2018 iPP it should be a really great upgrade! Mini LED will be nice if you're doing a lot of video watching, and want a true HDR experience, but at best there will be a high end 12.9" with it towards the end of this year, so I would say if you need it now, now is a good time to buy!

I would take bendgate with a grain of salt. Take care of it, put it in a nice backpack with protection and your good. I bet you most cases bend due to more than average pressure exerted.

It’s a huge upgrade. From an iPad Air. Which is what I’m still (just about) using. It’s a phenomenal piece of kit, and as soon as I’m back in business, post virus, I hope to be in a position to buy one.
