I was wondering if this is a good deal. I called the guy on the phone and he wants $1600 for all of it. Should I go to $1500. I know the guy is legit but should I take it for $1600 or go lower? Below is the ad.

This computer comes with many costly accessories. Everything is in as-new condition, with all original packaging. Here is the whole package:

- Apple Macbook Air. 2GB RAM. 80 GB PATA drive.
- 2 Power adapters (one for home, one for work)
- Airline power adapter
- Superdrive (external DVD R/W drive)
- Ethernet adapter
- External display adapter
- Fresh install of Apple OSX Leopard
- IWork 08 installed
- Original battery. Battery life still very good.

Personally, I think 1600 is too much. It's an o.k deal if the computer (1) has never been dropped (2) is a couple months old. I wouldn't touch it if it's already 8 months old or older.

You don't need most of those accessories and the biggest problem is battery. If you're a student, you can get a new Air for 1700 + free ipod touch + free printer. You can also get it from Amazon for $1690 after $50 rebate w/ no tax for most states.

Why don't you just make an offer? How could it hurt? I got mine brand new, sealed for $1450 on CL. Mind you it didn't come with those accessories but I wouldn't need those anyways. If you're anywhere near a major city you should be able to do better than 1600.

$1600 is too much. i got Air on craigslist with Ethernet adapter and superdrive for $1200. it was 5 months old. Try to go for $1400 that should be fair value of the laptop.

i paid $1400 for mine or was it $1500, i don't remember but it was brand new. Then paid some guy $65 for a brand new superdrive, which broke down on me and then called Apple for a replacement.

+1 1600 is too much. I sold my 1.6/80 with a superdrive for 1425 through CL and felt lucky to get that much. iWork installed? is that a trial version? do you get the iWork install discs?
