I want to get Macbook Pro 13'' (2020) with 16GB RAM. I am a developer with main focus on backend applications and server development and am tired of using Windows. But I heard that there are some major heating issues with the Macbook and the temperature reaches 100F even with light usage.
Any experienced Macbook Pro 13 (2020) users who can guide in this regard?

Mine has no overheating issues. I use Photoshop, heavy browsing, multiple tabs with 2x external 4K monitors.

i5 10th Gen, 16GB RAM

I Have an i7 10th Gen, 16GB RAM and doesn't over heat much at all. Very quiet.

I"m quite please with my i7, 10th Gen, 32 RAM. I have to push the machine relatively hard to even hear the fans (even when I have my 4K monitor attached). I think you'll be fine.

@iRun26.2 Are you wishing you waited, what with the rumours about ARM Macbook Pro? Feels like it has taken a shine off my recent purchase, what with longetivity of the MacOS.

I am still within my 14 day return timeframe (until Thursday). I purposely waited to order my computer until that window would overlap the WWDC. I can go back to using the two computers that I was using (a Dell for Windows and my MacBook for OS X) but I really like the 13" MacBook Pro and may keep it regardless of what is presented. It is so much better to have one computer to do the work I need to do in both worlds.

Do you need to run Windows? If so, how often? Because running Macs on windows is always a bit of a compromise with drivers, etc.
