I installed Windows 7 on my iMac, when I run Windows update there are 2 optional updates, one for the ATI video card, and one that says Microsoft driver update for broadcom 802.11n network adapter. Should I download and install these updates?

Yes. These updates will be more up-to-date then Apples, any problems you can remove them and re-apply the old ones.
