I have kept my ipad on 6.1.3 because I'm not liking the ios 8 experience on my other ipad and I'm thinking of jail breaking my ipad 4, cellular 16gb for the old YouTube app, a screen recorder, maybe some other tweaks/apps etc but I know if I jailbreak and something goes wrong there's no going back to ios 6 and if I decide I don't want the jailbreak ill have to restore to 8.2 so will it be worth it? Is there any other way to get rid of the jailbreak without updating because I know restoring through the settings app doesn't work :/ many thanks

You can always use semirestore and wipe everything while staying at the iOS version you are.
It will still be jb when done just with no hacks or anything else on it.
Clean with just the cydia icon.

Personally, I wouldn't do it.
Once your iDevice is jailbroken, that's it- you can't go back without updating the firmware.

6.1.3 is about perfect for an iPad4.

With that said, the upside to jailbreaking is adding tweaks like iCleaner Pro that allows you to clean up/speed up your iPad.
