Had it since November 2016, still works fine for the most part, but I know the new iOS will slow it down significantly. iPhones usually start to suffer during year 3 of ownership, my 5s would use up 40% of its battery after my first class of the day when I was in school.

I have my eyes on the XS max due to the longer battery life (the 7 plus had AMAZING battery life when I first got it but not so much anymore), but don't know if it's worth the $1,249.99 price tag (so mad they aren't offering a 128gb variant). Thoughts?

IOS 12 is supposed to make older devices faster.

Have your battery replaced for $29. It will run like a champ on iOS 12 for at least another year or two. :apple:

I am struggling with the same question... and the same problem with 64 gb being not enough.
