I ordered our current phones from Verizon a few years ago and had the phones shipped to me. I then visited my local Verizon store and had them activated. Everything went very smooth. Is there any advantage in ordering directly from Apple?
They are unlocked from Verizon too.Unless you have some need to have phones unlocked from day one, (with Apple SIM-free) there is no real advantage going through Apple.
Yep, Verizon charge a $50 restocking fee, even if unopened.A lot of people prefer Apple. However, there isn't a huge difference. Returns are easier with Apple than most carriers which charge a restocking fee.

Stick with Verizon! The problem that I have is there is not an Apple store located near me. I would have almost a 3 hour drive to an Apple store.
Stick with Verizon!
3 hour drive not worth the advantage of purchasing from Apple. Just decide now what size, storage and color you want and dont return.I agree. There is no advantage for me to order directly from Apple.
