Should I preorder the 12.9 iPad Pro with the Magic case together or separately? I’m afraid that my order might be delayed if one of them is going to take longer to deliver. Will they ship them separately if one is ready before the other or will they wait till both are ready? Thoughts?

Apple will likely ship all parts separately and one won't affect the other.
Indeed, this morning I received my AirTags and accessories and they were all separately boxed - the FedEx guy handed me a stack of 5 boxes
I think they just don't have the time to be consolidating things together with the complexity of all the parts.

Make sure you are confident you will not return the iPad. If you decide to return it, you won’t be able to return the case.
I’m planning to order that case a few days before the iPad ship delivery date.

When I ordered Saturday, I questioned the timing of getting the magic keyboard right away and the 12.9 iPad Pro 6-8 weeks later. I was told the magic keyboard is also covered under AppleCare when ordered at the same time as the iPad Pro.
