hey, just got a a pair of new airpods with my family (wich bought also 2 additional pairs) but sadly i think my set has a defect. The lid of the case seems to pop out , as if the lif is too big for the case...u cant really se it inthe pictures but it seem like somthing is pushing the lid out :( But before i go to AppleCare i wanted to ask u guys if u think i have a case (lol) here...dunno why i always feel like Apple blame the customer for defects...
The airpods were purchased a couple of days ago and i took really good care of them. No pressure was on them at all
What do u guys think? Is this common? Should i complain?do i have a chance of getting a new case? Or am i being paranoid? I just dont want then to brake in year/s to come.. thnx guys

You have 14 days to return them. Doesn’t matter what they say. Just buy another set.

Yeah, you're totally fine.

It clearly bothers you, so go ahead and take care of it.
Just say "this isn't how the lid is supposed to fit, and I'd really like a replacement."

The worst they could say is "no," but like dipan said above, you're in the return window so hurry on down to the Apple Store. =)

I recommend you call a store and ask those questions. They might set up an appointment with you as well.
