I'm moving into a house for my 2nd year of Uni soon. Slight problem though, there isn't enough deskspace in any of the bedrooms to fit my formac 2010 display AND macbook. I was thinking about:

a) just use the macbook with icurve + keyboard + mouse (all 3 of which i already have) and store the display somewhere else.

b) sell the macbook and isplay and spend a little extra to get the low end MBP (i say low end but it still comes with 2GB ram and 120GB HD, which is what my MB has)

c) do a) but sell the display then just buy another one in the future

What dyu guys think is the best idea? If anyone's interested in the blackbook, let me know (almost a year old, got boxes +receipts, 2GB ram, 120GB HD)

dude...

do whatever you want. who cares what other people say?

He's just asking for opinions, so, I guess ... he cares?

I say sell it and go for a MacBook Pro, you won't be disappointed with it, it's an awesome machine.

i'd suggest you keep what you already have. It dosent seem like your doing hardcore programming or editing so why would you need the pro? I think you should save the money you would be shelling out for a pro and invest it in something else like new furniture? College Students always need extra cash.

and if you wanted to make ever more cash sell the display but you can always leave that at home or save it, you never know when things like that come in handy.

just my opinion
