I bought a 16GB Wifi iPad on release day here in the UK and I think it's great. However, I have recently been thinking whether I really have a use for it. I already own an iPhone 4 and a MacBook so the iPad's main use is just for when I leave the house as it's much smaller than my MacBook. I also used my MacBook in clamshell mode but it was sharing a monitor with my Xbox so my iPad came in use then, but I no longer use it like that.
I don't really have any apps on my iPad, nowhere near the amount I have for my iPhone.
Pretty much anything I used my iPad for (watching YouTube, the odd film, internet browsing, IM) I could easily use my iPhone for.

Really I'm just looking to see if people agree with me to sell it. I'm worried that if I do sell it then I'd end up regretting it soon after
And if I were to sell my iPad, I would also sell my MacBook (Mid 2009) and buy a 13" MacBook Pro as they are smaller and lighter...and faster.

Pack up and put the iPad away in a drawer or cupboard for a couple of weeks, maybe a month, then see if you miss using it, what with all the other bits and pieces you have. It's not going to lose any value over that short period and you'll soon find out whether you miss it or not.

Good idea. However, I'll have to do it for just a week as I forget to mention that if I were to sell and get a MacBook Pro, then it would have to be soon as I plan on getting the free iPod Touch when I buy it. Student discount + free iPod Touch (to then sell) + cheap AppleCare is what I'm going for.
