hi,

I'm thinking of selling my MBP 2,16ghz C2Duo with 4gb ram and 120HD. In order for me to buy 2 Macbooks.

i would buy one MB 2.2ghz SR and the oher one would be (for my girlfriend) either the 2.0ghz santa rosa or a normal C2Duo model.

what do you guys think? is it worth selling my MBP for 2 Macbooks?

thanks.

depends how much you love her really. I mean, I rather have a MBP, but it does solve a dilemma if she needs a computer, I would just make sure you have a hundred bucks to upgrade the ram on your macbook. You will be dissappointed going from your 2 to only 1.

the thing is that she needs a computer for school and I mainly use mine for work. and I don't play any games on my mac. so i don't see why I shouldn't sell it right??

and right now I have 4gb of ram, yes I know i would have to start from scratch with 1gb ram, but ram ain't that expensive anymore.

He said 4!

OP, do you still have the original 2 x 1GB RAM modules for your MBP? If so, put them back in and use your existing 2x2GB modules in your new MacBooks. Then they'd each run on 2.5GB.
