I had planned on getting a new iPod Touch (with camera), but that isn't going to happen, thanks Apple. So I picked up an iPhone 3Gs 32gb yesterday. I really like it. Now my question is should I keep the 16gb 3g and use it as an iPod Touch with camera or should I sell it? If you think about it the iPhone has more features than an iPod Touch, like GPS and ability to tether (I did not update to 3.1). So I can switch SIM card if I want to tether to my Air. What would you do?

Well you already have the 3GS, no point in keeping the 3G, sold my mint iPhone 3G in 600 USD, so you might get a good profit.

Where did you post the Ad? What did you do to get that much?

I just sold mine for $370 on eBay. First time I listed it it went for $535 but they guy was trying to scam me so I had to re-list it.

Sell it. What's the point of carrying around a defunct 3G just for playing music when your new 3GS has double the memory. It's another battery to cycle and worry about.

I got £303 ($505) for my old 16Gb 3G on ebay.

If you need the money or have insurance then sell it. If not I would recommend keeping it. If you ever go somewhere you don't want to chance damaging your 3GS you can just swap the sim out. Better to have a backup just incase.
