What do you think? Do the value equals up? Note 10 is going for around 780 on swappa right now.

I want to get back to iPhone eventually.

How involved are you in Apple's ecosystem?

The Note 10 is solid for people accustomed to Android. For me, personally, I would stick with iPhone since I'm comfortable with the UI and use Apple services (iMessage, Card, etc).

I wouldn't recommend getting rid of a daily driver to try out Android, there are cheap Android phones out there to play around with first.

I use a s10e daily and got a note 10 for cheap but I don't have a iphone and haven't had one since the 5s.

Since you already have the S10e, the Note 10 is redundant IMO. I'd sell it before the value tanks since the N10 ( vs the N10+ ) is the literally the red headed step child of the Note family!

Yeah I'm gonna get rid of the note what's the value IMO for a 256 x with cases? Tmobile factory unlocked.

The x can last for least three more years right?

Value is very up and down on the iPhone x. I did that.

Well, the average selling price on the 256gb is $643 and declining. Given we are around 2 weeks from the next generation of phones being announced, you may want to act quickly because nothing drops used iPhone values like a product launch.

Seems like not that great of a deal especially ip 67 VS ip68.

I would do it as quick as possible. Before note 10 prices fall further.

It's the x not the xs.

That's a difference. I told them I'll talk to them later. But the android will drop like a rock in a month and the x isn't exactly new anymore it's two years old.

Words come to worse I was gonna sell the s10e and keep the note 10.

Comparing the average selling prices for both right now, it looks like you'd save $100-150 if you sold your Note 10 and bought another X 256 instead of trading.

That's if you act now of course. The value difference between them might not change dramatically for maybe a month though, yes the Note 10 will lose value fast but the X will drop a bit too when the new iPhones are released in two weeks.

I'd probably have sold the Note 10 now and then held on to the cash for two weeks, and then bought either the X at an even cheaper price, or a used XS which will hold you over for another year and might end up near the current price level of the X.

This makes the most sense.

Don’t think the op is going to get much from selling s10e.

I wouldn’t go for the X at this stage. It was just like the 5C, completely forgotten by Apple. Stick to the Note.

Care to elaborate on that? It seems like a strange comparison to make. X was a flagship phone followed by XS the next year, while 5c was a mildly refreshed repackaging of older components not followed by anything similar.

he trade for a s10+, he's a hardcore android guy so he knew all the specs... since the s10+ had higher resolution I can't blame him for that.

I'm trying to sell it now but honestly I didn't like the 2 year old difference for the x. Would have preferred the xs but the 64 gig is too small.

So you wanted the note 10 for the S10+?
