Should I Update Firmware?

Hello Forum,

I am 3 months new to MAC and will never go back to a PC again.

I have a question though regarding the new firmware update. My imac has been running great since I bought it. Should I still update it? Kind of nervous.

Also, is there anywhere on this site that will list what updates where worth it and which ones you should stay away from?

It is good to wait a day or two before updating, just to make sure there are no major problems caused by the update, but if you don't hear an air raid siren and it has been a few days then it's probably fine to update your mac.
