Should I update my iPad Mini 2 from ios 9 to 10.3.3 ?

I have an iPad mini 2 that's still on ios 9.3.5 and I was wondering if it's worth it to update it to 10.3.3 because ios 11 is just around the corner and so far it's a mess on A7 devices. This ipad is mainly used for school and by my gf for movies. So, I want to know how bad is 10.3.3 and if I should leave it on 9.3.5.

My fiancé had a mini 2. Upgraded from 9 to 10. Still experienced lag on both but didn’t bother him. I have always thought 10 is a cleaner version of 9.

Yes it's actually absolutely fine on iOS 10

IOS 10 works just fine on mine.

iOS 10 used to work fine on mine. I had disabled a lot of the animations though. iOS 11 betas started off horribly and they are still not as smooth as iOS 10. However, it's quite usable.

So you should't have any trouble with 10.
