I have a mid 2011 iMac running Snow Leopard. It's great, but I think it's time to upgrade. However, beforehand I have a few questions.

Is Mountain Lion stable, or is it buggy? If it crashes things and it's buggy then I will not upgrade.

Since I am going from 10.6 to 10.8, will I get the 10.7 OS X Lion features too? I know it may sound dumb, but I just want to make sure :p

And lastly, is it even worth it? I know this may be over-asked an such, but I really don't want to upgrade if there is nothing new, nothing refreshed. I am a patient man, I can wait until 2013.

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers. :)

Forgot the specs:

21'' mid 2011, 2.5 GHz i5, 4 GB of RAM (thinking of upgrading to 8).

(Sorry if my English is wrong or something, not a native speaker!).

Unless you need some feature in 10.8 I would stay put, for instance recent Aperture upgrades are not available for 10.6.8. We upgraded here as needed to use Back to my Mac, but beyond that there have been few advantages and its slower!

It is stable for me, and the majority of people I'd imagine.

You sure will :)

Here's the feature's list, so decide for yourself if those features are worth the upgrade (oh, and you get all the lion features too!) :)
