Although I didn't want to lose access to my 32-bit apps, I went ahead and updated my 1st gen 12.9 Pro to 11. Unlike every other update I've experienced on iPads, this update made my 12.9 Pro *MORE* responsive. It's very smooth. I like the new dock and method of selecting apps for multitasking. The only downside at this point in time (aside from the loss of 32-bit) is the single column of widgets in landscape mode (instead of the 2 column mode under iOS 10).Will my device run iOS 11 fine or will the software cause it to lag?
[doublepost=1505866991][/doublepost]I ran a Geekbench 4 compute test and my 2017 12.9 IPP went from 26,704 to 29,838. CPU scores didn’t budge, but iOS11 seemed to speed up this beast.Loving mine so far.
