You should install the updates. Bugs get fixed and security gets improved.

I assume you mean Late 2013? 10.12.4 is running fine for me, and as said above these minor updates usually contain security/bug fixes and performance improvements; in this case also the addition of Nightshift. I see no reason to hold off.
