Hi All,
I really value everyone's expert opinion on this forum so was hoping I could get some advice.
I have a Macbook Pro Retina 13-inch Mid 2014, with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5 processor; 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Memory; Intel Iris 1024 MB Graphics; and OS X 10.9.5 Software, (I'm pretty much reading what it says on "About this Mac"). I was performing an update today when I noticed that I was being offered an upgrade to Yosemite. I have read a few threads on this forum, some saying Yosemite is amazing, others saying it's horrible.
My question is, A) Would this upgrade work well with my computer, given all the specs I provided, B) Do you recommend the upgrade, and C) If I don't upgrade, will I hurt the performance of the computer eventually?
I got this computer as a gift from a friend and it works WONDERFULLY now--super fast and does everything I need it to do--so I want to make sure it's a good idea and know all the pros and cons before I upgrade.
Thank you!
Christie
