Should I use boot camp and partition to use Windows 7, or should I just install it directly from VMware/Parallels?

Other than the 40GB limitation on the VMware, what are the advantages of having it partitioned?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT
I just researched have found a similar thread.

I guess I should Boot Camp for the better.

Is Fusion or Parallels recommended? What are the advantages? I read an article that Parallels runs Windows faster, but from reviews I've read that Paralells freezes often?

Native speed would be the primary reason

Bootcamp would mean windows would run at native speeds, and would run at the exact spec of your mac (e.g. 2.8ghz, 2gb RAM, 256mb gfx)

Whereas VMware/ Parallels would run similar speeds but would not make use of your graphics card...(uses direct 9.0 graphics)

Only downsides to bootcamp are that you have to restart your mac to access it, whereas VMware/ parallels can be opened within OS X

Hope that helps
