Not sure if this is the place to post this but hopefully it is.
I currently have a Vizio M series 55 inch model M558-G1
That TV was suppose to be the top of the line M model with 90 zones.
I do not understand why new M series barely even have 32 zones or other tv's around the line of other brands have less than a 2 -3 year old tv.

I would love to get an OLED TV but they are just too expensive for me and burn in scares me. Are there any new tv standards that are coming out that the I don't know about such as 8k, dolby, etc? I really only need 4k, 2.1 HDMI , and 120z, dolby because I plan on getting the new xbox series X.
BestBuy currently has TCL 6 series at 699 for 55 inches. What other TV model would this compare to or what other models do you people recommend around this price point.

The reason I want to get a new TV is because Vizio chromecast does not work on mexico I cant barely use anything but netflix, I use my xbox one x for media, also I like to keep up with new standards within budget. Thank you and Sorry if this is a long post.

The place to get expert opinion on TV's is ( https://www.rtings.com ). They give really top notch reviews on AV equipment. You can search for the TV you are looking for. It appears they have a forum as well. That is the best place read both pros/cons on the TV you are interested in and to ask your AV questions.
