Hey. So after a lot of thought I'm getting an iPad very soon. I'm just getting the Wifi one since I have an iPhone for 3G and the only places I really travel to are New York or Los Angeles, and I'm fine with wifi through there.

My question is should I wait until Apple gets all its announcements out of the way this month, or if I wanted to get it, say, tomorrow, should I be fine? I've done a lot of research and it really doesn't look like anything that will massively change the iPad will be announced. Or maybe I'm missing something? It seems way too early to get a big update since it just came out.

So yeah, should I wait to buy it because of some iPad changing announcement, or am I safe to buy it?

Are you expecting the release of the iPad Generation 2 at the end of the month? Not likely to happen.

Are you waiting for 4.0? You know you can upgrade to 4.0 You don't have to wait for iPads with 4.0 installed.

What are your concerns?

You know, I thought I could come up with a quick sarcastic remark for asking such a question, that would give a giggle to me and some other people to start the morning...
but I just ended up sighing and shaking my head side to side :(

Yeah, what he said.

If the current iPad is good enough for you what does it matter what they announce next month, tomorrow, next April etc. the device will still do all the things it does today.
