Hi,

My folks are interested in a mac mini but I've been a little concerned about the lack of recent updates. Do any of you have an ear to the ground when it comes to any possible replacement for the mini or should I just tell them go go and get one now? I can see the buyers guide says there have been no updates for a long time, but does that mean anything? Has the mini just been put on the back burner?

well people are saying auguest and maybe september or july no one can be certian or maybe not at all im waiting but for ur parents why not get one now there just going to use to surf and email, video editing, im pretty sure the current one could handlle what there going to do? what will they be using it for, (sorry for my bad english and not making sence)

I don't think anyone knows what is going to happen with the Mac Mini. Some believe that Apple is fading it out while others believe that it is here to stay. I know this isn't much help but as far as I know, there are a lot of questions about it.

im waithing but i photoshop and do other things 1.83 ghz can handle it but gets pretty slow and i only plan on getting the base model
