I had thought that those rules created for me.com email address in mac mail should sync and so be seen and applied in mobile me via web browser?

Is this the case? I have checked my mobile me sync preferences and the correct box to sync is ticked.

Does anyone have any ideas ?:)

Mail rules (on your mac) will sync from mac to mac but not mobileme on the web and visa versa. Strange but true...

Wow, Macgirl and Macsterguy :)

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I am pretty new to the Mac (Windows 7 on all my other computers) and was deciding if I wanted to sometimes use the Mac Mail Client or simply use the Web Based Client. I like the Web Client because of the option to have the Reading Pane on the right (I have a Wide Screen Monitor). Anyway, while thinking about this I felt that there really was no need to have Rules on both. If you setup the rules on MobileMe Web then the mail will be place in the correct folders for all of the clients (Mac Mail, iPhone, iPad, etc.).

Thank you very much for clearing that up for me. That makes me feel better that it is something that can't be done rather than something that I am doing wrong.

Would still be great if it did sync from mm to mac / mac to mm though :)

good point that makes sense :)

edited to say that it doesn't seem as though the rule options on mm are as detailed as on mail?

Yeah. Would be nice to have more options.
