A company can live on a reputation for only so long if their goal is to just maximize their profits in the short run.
I will not claim that Apple's later generation of computers are a "dumpster fire" but it's close to being one

Yarp. Apple's design has doesn't have the WOW factor any more. It's more to the same with each successive generation thinner than the previous. The last time I was impressed by Apple's design was the lamp shade iMac. Machine was a thing of beauty, both in form and function.
New iPad is perfect design.....I can only hope that iPhone XI will follow that same design...
Just ordered a 2018 Mac mini. Looks the same thickness as the 2014 model to me!

For intentionally slowing iPhones through deception..software updates..to drive sales of newer versions..just to name an example..
Is he on a raised stage? Yeah, I mean, he could step down, or maybe jump down if it's not too high. Heck, maybe even do a little parkour to get down!

So, because Apple stock has dropped, Tim Cook should just ultimately abandon everything and walk away from Apple? Do you think that’s a true sign of a leader to leave Apple because of some stock fluctuation? What about all the positive things that have occurred under Tim Cook over the last six years? I’m not sure why we need to focus on [one] thing about the stock market, considering Apples growth/success in almost every facet since his undertaking when Jobs passed.

I think every Apple product I’ve bought had a reported issue. But I’ve never found that myself. I think there is a tendency for people to report every issue as if it’s something that will affect everyone. Plus if it’s faulty I’ll take it back anytime I need to in the first three years. Apple care

Take a look at this thread (over 100 pages).
The T2 chip with the bridge OS fault is a problem in the newer model Mac computers (with no guaranteed solution).
If you read the thread, you will see almost everyone with the problem got little satisfaction from Apple (because Apple has no fix) and they all recommend that people return the computers within the 14 day period.
I'm not at all suggesting that people not buy a new model Mac. I'm just saying that if the computer shows any problems within the 14 day period, just return it (rather than get on the service merry go round and pass your 14 day return). You can always then purchase another.

Certainly not for the ups and down of the stock market; financially speaking, Apple went through the roof since Steve Job's passing. Not sure Jobs would have taken the company to the financial heights it achieved. That said, I don't think any next 'big thing' will be coming out of Apple as long as Cook is at the helm.

I’ll see what occurs. I just find most problems you read about don’t materialise for me. Maybe I’m just lucky.
I reckon Tim Cook couldn't fart without half of this site's membership calling for his head on a spike.
