no...that's called double dipping at our expense and getting more deductions for their bottom line profit's from environmental standards.
 
1st there isn’t a big price difference when buying in recycled materials. Be it aluminium, steel, glass…

2nd most of the material is the cheapest BOM in an iphone.

1kg aluminum goes for about $2. So how much savings u wanna see, 2Cents?

The machining, engineering and assembly costs.

You're right. Screw those new watch bands made from recycled plastic bottles. Once I'm done with lunch I'll just use my empty Coke bottle to strap my watch to my wrist.
