show file/folder size

I want to see folder/file size in Icon view. Sometimes, for some files it appears but I want to see it for all files/folders.

The size may show for some file types but not all, and I can't find documentation to explain. For example, it won't show for PDFs even if the filename is short. Some image files show the dimensions but not a file size. I haven't seen the folder size appear in icon view at all, so not sure that's an option. I think icon view options are pretty limited.

In the Finder on your Mac, change options such as label text, icon or thumbnail sizes, and more for each view—Icon, List, Column, and Gallery.

In Windows, when you single-click on a file, you can see the size at the bottom of the window. Does MAC have this feature?

Not to my knowledge. You want to reconsider using List view instead if you want to view these details consistently for every file type and folder size.
