I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Blue Velvet and Lau.

Edit: And skunk, of course: a legend in his own lifetime.
 
My favorites on MR are everyone that makes it fun to waste a majority of my day here.

So from Arn....to new member #92,071 and counting.

Is that a diplomatic enough answer?

Aww... that's very kind of you to say so and the feeling is reciprocated. Lau would definitely be on the top of many people's lists.

I have lots of favourite people, but they're all favourites for different reasons. I'm reluctant to start listing names because I don't want to be too divisive; I'm not usually one for public popularity contests on forums. But I'm always partial to well-written and clear posts, people who make me laugh, people who show compassion towards others and also those who are technically-savant but are not arrogant about it or helping others.

Many of my faves are not necessarily frequent posters, although some of them are. Some of my faves don't even like me at all. ;)

There are people out there (including members of MacRumors) who don't like you? :rolleyes: Are you sure about that?


I do know what you mean though... some of my favorite members are ones who I have had debates with (specially ones who put me in my place :eek: ).


Hmmm... as for the crush type of like, I can't say as my wife sometimes reads my posts. :eek: Although if she was a member she would be at the top of that list! :D

iGary, by far, is my number one - he's helped me a ton with photography and mac stuff...

Clix Pix, while overly harsh at times, has been a great help also...

Abstract, I've found, is very nice...

and Mad Jew, of course...:)

Exactly... we'd all be better off if this thread dies quickly. Nothing good will come of it, especially not given the recent community discussions.
 
I'm kind-of partial to EMKOPER and BLUE VELVET. EMKOPER for the fun geeky personality and other cool attributes; BLUE VELVET seems super knowledgeable from a graphics standpoint, as well as having a good sense of humor. :D
 
I have many people who are on my favourite list, amongst them are Blue Velvet, RacerX, killyp, and a lot more i don't like those who are arrogant when people ask questions about things they don't understand
