When you consider that here in the US we often will say "December First 2013" (using the date you posted) it makes A LOT more sense.

hah, oh ok nice. I was taking pics of our decorations and had to stop because we didn't have a tree topper and it look sad without it then I saw yours and felt sad for your tree.

I wish that it was this way. 2 days before Halloween, I stopped at Home Depot to pick something up. They had faux Christmas trees on display for sale. I shook my head.
I haven't done it yet but this is pretty much the extent of my decorations. This is from 2 years ago. I have a second lit wreath that goes partway down the stairs.
I would love to put my tree up but my 4 legged critter would destroy it
