Hey!

It looks like my mac got crazy, I keep seeing there's an update available and a message that I need to update my Apple ID settings.
In both cases, I can't really login resolve those issues

There isn't any update available:

Clicking Continue does nothing:

Any ideas?

Have you restarted your computer? Tried to log out and in again?

Yes, I've restarted my computer, I also had the iCloud message on my iPhone but it disappeared.
I am a little afraid to log out and log in just in case it won't work (it really behaves weird).

Well, logging out and in again is what I do when I come across this kind of problem, so I don't know what else to do.

Thanks for the advice!
It looks like it was an unreported Apple bug.

Few minutes ago everything was resolved by itself, and all messages disappeared

I have this problem too. Restarting doesn't fix, upgrading to 14.1 doesn't fix it. iCloud isn't syncing and I can't log out!

If System Settings is not working, mas-cli can be used to sign out of your Apple ID.
Download and install mas.pkg from https://github.com/mas-cli/mas/releases then from Terminal run
Code:
mas signout

To uninstall mas-cli, from Terminal run
Code:
sudo rm /usr/local/bin/mas
