iPhone Showtime Anytime no longer working

For those few who might be using the Showtime Anytime app on iTunes, they've just pushed out a new update, and I'm curious if anyone else whose jailbroken is now experiencing the "missing DRM token" error when attempting to play a video.

Not sure if this is something that will be resolved by xCon, or even if its Showtime's way of saying "hey, this iPhone is jailbroken".

Yeah, I'll just run the Showtime app on my unjailbroken iPad for now. Ce la vie.

I got the same drm message so I use the directv app to watch showtime shows now. Give that a try.

1.3 released a few days ago has the issue, 1.2 from September up until then does not.

:/ I'm sure it'll be fixed. In the meanwhile if you back up apps to iTunes resync 1.2.

SHO app sucks compared to HBO GO. With hbo enabling airplay natively sans tweaks SHO should follow but apparently they aren't

I've found the beta gets update sooner. Plus, it works with DTV.

You can also download UnrestrictPremium 2.12 (2.99) Gives universal support for Airplay Mirroring across all apps.

I'm having the same issue on my jailbroken iPhone 5. Turns out video plays just fine if I disable UnrestrictPremium2. Is everyone else trying to get around the airplay block?

Just curious, what xCon version are you using?

im using the beta version, but the sho app was just updated so i doubt the beta version works on it, i installed the older version of show anytime for now

Hmm... did you end up uninstalling UnrestrictPremium2, or just disabled it for Showtime? I did the latter, and no difference -- still getting the missing DRM token error upon trying to play a video.

Being that I use this app and hbogo religiously and also mixed with the fact that I only jailbreak to theme my phone, Ive recently gone back to being unjailbroken

Cannot Access Showtime Anytime Fix

I actually found out that you can watch Showtime Anytime on a Mac you just need a specific plugin. If you're not getting a pop up to install the plugin it most likely means that you already have it installed but the plugin is out of date.
