I've got a Macpro with 4 internal drives. One drive has been entirely dedicated to windows. For videoeditingreasons I am now in need of this drive(setting up a 3 internaldisk raid 0). My intention is to keep my last and fourth internal drive for my osx system and share it with the bootcamp windows partition. Meaning, I need to rezise my windows system from the drive so it will fit the new 50gb bootcamp partition.
I was going to use winclone as I have done before on my macbook.
Here is my problem:
I need first to shrink my windows system and then install it on a new partition on the osx system drive but when I try the shrink NTFS system in Winclone I cannot seem to select the windows NTFS drive. I am only given the option to select a partition or disk image.
Is this possible with Winclone? Is there any other freeware app or way to do this to shrink my 500g windows system and then restore it in a new bootcamp partition on the OSX system disk?
Thanx for any help.
