I only have this problem with My Name is Earl that i ripped in Normal mode instead of Apple TV mode by mistake, it has something to do with the Frame Rate.

What's the codec, resolution and bit rate for these files? Also, make sure your movie is fully buffered before playing ... although that wouldn't really have any affect on the shudderiness.

LOL!

Thankfully someone else see's this! I had various theories going, from the onset of Alzheimer's to my Yamaha AV Unit trying to upscale the image to full HD. The fact it wasn't all my movies was leaning me towards Alzheimer's!!

Frame rate means Im not losing it and I can do something about it.

they are all mp4 h264 aac 720p about framerate not sure where can i change it etc
