I've been thinking about buying a shuffle or nano to use whilst out walking my dogs.
The main draw for this is the small size and the convenience of the clip on the back.
The shuffle seems a good choice being cheaper (easier to replace if I lose or break it) and fairly robust looking, I cover a lot of woodland and rough grass areas close to water.
The nano has the obvious advantage of a screen for navigation as well as more space and longer battery life but is also over 3 times the price of the shuffle.
The main use will be for listening to audiobooks as I walk along, so which one is best for this?
Can I bookmark the place I left off listening and resume easily on the shuffle?
Will I be able to accurately rewind a few minutes of audio to recap where I was in the story before resuming listening on the shuffle?
If I had music and audiobooks on a shuffle how can I choose between each one?
I think I might be a bit lost without a navigation screen so I'm hoping that regular users of the shuffle or nano might be able to point me in the right direction here, is it as difficult to navigate on the shuffle as it appears to be.
All music and audiobooks will be purchased from itunes so is there anything I should know about audiobook formats on a shuffle or nano (I've seen a few questions about this but don't know how relevant they are)
Podcasts will also be listened to, so how would I navigate between audiobooks, music and podcasts on a shuffle to choose the one I want to listen to?
Oh, and what colour should I choose......(only joking)
