I have a mid-2010 iMac with the latest OS update 10.12.3.
Since doing that update I have problems with my iMac either shutting down and rebooting or shutting off while it is in sleep mode while I am away from the computer. I turn the computer off each night after I am finished.
Power surges at the house is not the cause as I am home every day and I would know if we lost power or not. There is not a specific time it happens. I run BitDefender weekly to check for any malware. I do not play games nor watch many video due to my data allowance based on my satellite internet service. I live in a rural area and have no other choice for high speed internet.
Anyone heard of this reboot or shutdown issue?
