Hi, I just had a strange issue where the internet was extremely slow to the point where it would barely function. I was on the network of the carrier. Apparently shutting off the phone and restarting it fixed this issue but I am wondering what could it be? Never happened before.

Not sure, but unless this starts happening frequently, I wouldn't worry about that. Occasionally I have to do the same thing with my Internet at home with my Mac (not sure if it's happened with my iPhone, but same principle). I'll be browsing the Internet just fine, then all of a sudden no pages will load--check my router and modem and all lights are indicating "all ok" but it's not working. Restarting the Mac fixes the issue (I think occasionally simply quitting and restarting the browser has also fixed the issue).

Ok, thank you. Maybe something with the network connection or some sort. The thing is that the phone was in a hot room for a little while prior to this, but it seemed to work at that time. Only afterwards did the internet get bogged down.
