I have been getting sick of the iPhone for a while all the threads about unlocking, secret features, how to get out of contracts etc... They didnt bother me but since the iPhone has delayed Leopard it makes me sure Im sick of it. Am I alone??

I guess I am missing the point. This board is arguably centered around the discussion of future technology. The iPhone is just another one. Like you, it does not hold too much interest for me, at least not right now. But, that also goes for much of the technology, and applications discussed here.
For example, I could care less about gaming, gamers, XBox, Nintendo, PS3 and that ilk. However, I realize it is important for others. So, I can just ignore it and everyone is happy.
Your poll is terrible ....I like the iPhone and OS X...so no 10.5 isn't a bad thing, but neither is the iPhone.

No, I'm not sick of the iPhone, I am going to get an iPhone. But no, I don't think that Leopard is overrated, but Tiger isn't a bad OS at all, so what's the rush to get Leopard anyway? I can still happily use Tiger until Leopard is released, sure the iPhone caused Leopard to be delayed but it isn't the end of the world. It's not like waiting until October is going to kill you.
Ah, c'mon; Am I the only one who thinks Leopard is overrated? LEOPARD SUCKS!! I honestly wouldn't give a care if it was delayed for another 20 years. Tiger works; if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Ok perhaps I did not word my original post the right way, i like most others cant wait to get my hands on an iPhone BUT the threads about unlocking it, hacking it etc. are getting old as no one knows yet. I get floods of spam e-mail and see ads on website telling me how to get an iPhone. I didnt start this thread to get bashed I was simply wanting to know if I was the only one that wants Apple to focus more on the Macintosh then consumer electronics.
I don't mind all the topics about iPhone. I just don't understand how can people ask functionality questions about a device that won't be available until June.
I share that view and also agree with Cassie that Tiger functions very well and will continue to serve the needs of many users before any rush to update. I do not have an anti-Leopard bias, yet feel the changes will be less than overwhelming. it reminds me of the claims of 200+ new features that accompanied Tiger's release, when in fact the truly new innovations were a tiny fraction of that amount.
It's amazing how closely related these two responses are. Software evolves as hardware and computer theory evolve and vice versa. If it didn't, then we'd have a stagnant market most likely without Apple and without the Macintosh. Software is half the equation.
Same thing goes for Apple. They can't ride the Macintosh and the iPod for the rest of the life of the company. They're setting their sights on a potentially high-yield market -- the cell phone market -- which will help to sustain R&D in both consumer electronics and computer technology. It's the same as what the Macintosh has done for the iPod and what the iPod has done for the Macintosh. In the end, their success gives Apple more money to invest in R&D all around.
As a sidenote, it's interesting how those who blame the iPhone for Leopard's delay aren't willing to blame Steve Jobs directly. It's Steve's handiwork, and he's done it before. This is his project, and it would have cost Apple more to delay the iPhone rather than delay Leopard. The delay is good for the Macintosh, and in the big picture, it's good for Apple. I'm beginning to understand why Steve decided to make half of Leopard's features "Top Secret" because fully knowing what we're in store for would have left this an even bigger pear.
EDIT: And I can't vote in this poll as there is no option that reflects my opinion: No, not sick of the iPhone and still looking forward to Leopard's October release.
I'm pretty sure they could...atleast for the Macintosh(well Mac now a days), but Apple could easly stay a computer only company for a long long time.
The iPod, maybe not, but I think the idea of portable music players with synced songs are here to stay(maybe stream will become big but an iPod could do that also)
i just was gonna make a thread about this!!! yes honestly i'm getting a little tired of hearing about the iphone...once its out hopefully the hype will calm down!! I much rather have leopard 
Honestly I am not going to buy an iPhone, but I will buy Leopard with a new Mac one it comes out and is verified stable and compatible. I am sick of the "i" prefix as it is but I am in no way going to plunk down $400 - $500 on a phone, I don't care if it moves mountains or changes channels on my Apple TV that I won't be getting either. iAm getting iBored with the iTalk of the iPhone. That is just a personal opinion and I iUnderstand if others can't wait for it to iGet iHere. But I mean really . . . Pushing back an OS and new systems for a phone? I do not get it.
I think your poll is flawed. I am not sick of the iPhone, but I do care about Leopard, but there is not an option for this opinion.

Give me Leopard! I have on use for the a phone yet. I'll buy the iPhone minus phone though [if there is one] because the other features look sweet.
Except by doing so it'd have marginalized the company that we know today. I suppose I misspoke; Apple could sustain itself as a computer company for the foreseeable future. But at about 2001, and even 2003, Apple's market share was just sitting around 3% and falling, and so today we see that it's at ~6% and climbing. It wasn't until 2004 and 2005 that it stabilized and then turned around. I'd expect that if they were to have remained a computer only manufacturer, it'd limit their growth, and, being that they'd rely solely upon computers, it'd leave the company susceptible to market forces.
With the iPod, the thing is that MP3 players are converging with cell phones and computers are becoming media devices; without the iPod, Apple's media leverage would be next to nil. And without the iPhone -- the next phase of media players -- Apple's leverage will be next to nil. The iPod has helped the Macintosh just as much as Mac OS X has through increased revenue and increased brand awareness. Since the iPhone is an extension of OS X, I believe that it, too, has already caused significant ripples in Mac OS X.
In fact, it seems very well plausible that Core Animation is becoming so prominent in Mac OS X because of the iPhone whose interface clearly relies on it to a great degree.

Curiosity leads to sales and then more curiosity and so on. Apple (and technology companies in general) has had a long standing history of trying to create a fervor by announcing stuff that hasn't been finished yet to test how the public responds. This can be quite a risky marketing proposition; if it explodes into the public consciousness and you're not ready to release, you may lose interest by the time it does ship or you may have expectations exceed the reality and then sales tank. The flip side be everybody spends each waking hour anticipating the new product and it ends up far exceeding expectations (iPod, anyone?). Like comedy it's all in the timing and delivery.
