Side-by-side iPhone restore takes 8 hours?

Currently restoring iPhone from another iPhone side by side. Says time remaining is 8 hours. Is this accurate? Seems a bit much. I chose this option in order to restore all of my app passwords.

How would I go about canceling this data transfer in order to restore from iTunes backup?

The iTunes might be a long time too. I used to only do iTunes when changing phones but the usb 2.0 makes it super slow. I just do iCloud restore now and it transfers passwords and everything else I need. I just have to log in to some of the apps again.
