Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to put two videos side by side in the iPad iMovie app. I want to use it for my music, because I can play one part in one video and another part in the other. If there is a way to do this, how? Also if not, what apps can I use to do it? Thanks!!

I don't think that is possible with the iMovie app.
I do think it's possible with quite a few apps (browsers) which can show websites and in some cases also video side by side in one app. This is not Apple's official Split View so can also work on older iDevices and even iPhones in some cases. See my wiki topic about side by side apps here.

The majority of the browsers can open two YouTube videos (e.g uSurf, iCab mobile, Photon Flash Browser, Twistext).
TileBrowser also supports a few video formats (MP4, M4V, MOV) but not yet cloud storage support.
I'm running the beta to test out Dropbox support.
