Sidebar icons not changing

So my sidebar icons do not seem to match their icons in the home folder anymore. The icons just stay their stock blue folder icon and also my downloads folder is missing the icon altogether. How do I fix this? I have already tried removing them from the sidebar and reapplying the icons to the home folder. Ok so now I got the icons to show up for the most part by deleting the icon cache but for some reason my downloads folder still is giving me the weird missing icon. You're using custom icons so probably something to do with your icon set. I'd directly contact the person who made that icon set to see if they can be of any help.

They worked fine in Mavericks plus now its literally just the downloads icon and they were all made in exactly the same way.
