This actually started with Mavericks and now occurs in Yosemite. When we work, I put the current job folders in my sidebar so I can readily access them. However, if I ever have to reboot my computer or the server, all my folder disappear from my sidebar and I have to manually enter them. Not uncommon for me to have to do this every single day. When I had the cat OS this never happened. Reboot and all my sidebar items were right there.
Also, I notice that there is a lot of lag on each workstation since upgrading to mavericks/yosemite. Not sure how much is the OS and how much is old networking. I have same routers and hubs from 10-15 years ago.
