Hey,

I am trying to remote control an old '09 imac from my ipad, specifically for music control of Qobuz.
The imac is way too old for Sidecar, but what are the ipad apps which would suffice that would work on an old imac?

Thanks,
Richard

Short answer:

Duet for second screen, Astropad for Pencil work, Luna Display if you’re willing to buy the Luna Dongle

Longer answer:

Astropad/Luna Display (both from the same company) requires a Luna Display dongle to work as a second screen (if you’re willing to buy it, it’s a better option than Duet). Otherwise Astropad just mirrors the screen (intended for drawing).

Duet Display does not require any hardware. It is worse for drawing, but if you don’t need that, it’s a good solution.
