All iPads Sidecar uses

I always feel like I could be using my iPad more, or more productively. i think sidecar is probably something I should use more but I struggle to think of what for, I use an iMac as my computer and have 3 desktops, lots of safari windows etc. What do you guys use sidecar for mainly?

I use Spacedesk, not Sidecar since I use a ThinkPad. The iPad is my 2nd monitor while working in a hotel, etc.

I like to keep my main task on the iMac e.g. writing a script, creating a design. On the iPad screen, I’ll keep reference material, my notes, thumbnail drawings, and supporting material to quickly refer to without losing focus.

I like to have background noise while working. I'll either have music, YouTube, sports or a show on the smaller screen. I personally like having the much smaller screen instead of another monitor because it allows me to keep better focus.

Is there a particular reason you just don’t have that on in a different tab, or the Music app?

It’s a visual thing for me - even though it’s just music, I like being able to see the app at a glance too

That makes sense. Do you use a dock? I have a Logitech case so it props open like a laptop, which is nice but obviously takes up more desk space.
