Hi - Just upgraded and am now panicking because I had all my quick notes on stickies in the widgets screen with the left swipe. I don't know if I'm making any sense but I am wondering if it is possible to recover those notes from the stickies. Any ideas?

You did do a time machine back up before you upgraded right? Just go get them out of time machine.

Thank you- I'm guessing I won't recover these notes. I haven't backed up my computer in a long time, I've been traveling and overseas lately so I just never got around to it. Bummer

Your stickies file is stored in your User's Library. Look for StickiesDatabase.

Switch to storing notes to the Notes.app and sync to iCloud. They are searchable and you can organize in folders.

The update has Dashboard with all your stickies and widgets disabled.

All you need to do is go on finder and search "dashboard", or simply find it in applications. Open it and then you are reunited with your stickies.

I had the same issue, hope this helps =]

You are looking for Dashboard. Go to Finder, applications, dashboard, (double click to open). Then your "left swipe widget" screen will be restored.
