Sierra FASTER than EL Capitan. is it possible ?

i just installed OS Sierra on my imac and seems faster than El Capitan (both clean install)

is it possible ?

Why wouldn't it be possible if Sierra has optimizations and improvements that El Cap doesn't?

What seems faster? You're not giving a whole lot of info to respond to.

many new os are slower than the older ones, Sierra seems the opposite to me.


i was looking for similar or opposite impressions.
i could be wrong!

I would wait for a month or two. Fresh install system is not fully utilized until all apps are used regularly, combined with its internals i.e. cache and swap.
