What brought you back to el cap, what hardware you running, and will you be willing to give sierra a try again in due time ?

For me I've been on sierra since the betas for better or worse (worse), but i have a 40gb el cap partition, and 40gb win10 pro partition on it. This is a 2015 rMB 12" base

will probably stay put since ill be using 13" late 2013 rMBP more and adjust as needed, maybe transfer key documents and files from the sierra partition and go all el cap, or favorable capacity towards it (176gb) and a 40gb sierra test partition to see if its improved before leaping again

and 13" i have 80gb el cap and the rest sierra, may change it to other way around or all el cap too and just try the test partition on 12" as assurance

WHY? i don't like that scrolling is choppy, it degrades the experience and feeling of buttery smoothness. it also seems to beach ball more often and slower in general,

and possibly worse battery life,

this is 10.11.6 vs 10.12.1, feels a lot more mature and polished

plus i like latest and greatest but you lose watch unlock (cool on my 12"), messages app, and Siri (don't use on pc, much less on phone) to go to el cap, thats not giving up too much!

I don't have one:rolleyes: I've been using Sierra as my main OS since Beta 3. Now on Sierra 10.12.1 on my cMP 6,1 and my 2012 MBA. Only issue I have is on my cMP the F12 key no longer ejects optical media. Other than that - Things are GREAT!!!! Faster, for me, than El Cap and certainly is "mature and polished."

When I climbed El Cap (Salathe Wall), it was a four day ordeal. We brought and used the standard hardware. All hexes, stoppers and a nice assortment of small wires and camming units. No pins (pitons) of any kind. There is still plenty of fixed pins from previous ascents.
