Sierra GM Seed now available.

For me it gave a new code to use in the store, it wasn't and update to the beta.

Unlikely. GM means public beta is over and the next release is the official product.
The GM build needs to be tested to make sure it's ready for release, and often there are multiple GM builds meaning the first doesn't make it to final release.

In the past Public Beta testers got the GM, but not always simultaneously with developers. I don't see any reason that would be different now.

PB should get what's called GM Candidate which is also the final version. That is what they have gotten in the past, usually 1-3 days after Devs get GM.

My MacBook Pro just crashed big time. What is the command to build a boot disk with the Golden Master?

It is

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app --nointeraction

This will make a bootable USB on a USB named Untitled. It should be at least a 8GB drive.

Many thanks!
