Anyone else not showing the proper storage when they go to About this mac > Storage? Im on Sierra 10.12.1 and no matter what I do, It only shows "system." No Music, documents, video..nothing.

I reindexed Spotlight and that didnt work.. I downgraded to El Capitan and that was the only thing to work. In El Capitan it shows correctly, then I re-downlaoded and upgraded to Sierra and the problem comes back. I sent feedback to Apple but I just wonder how many others have this issue. Im on mid 2015 Macbook Pro.

On that storage window, when you click the Manage... button, what shows in the left column list (Under Recommendations)? Anything more than just "System"?

It lists Applications, Documents, Icloud Drive, Mail, Trash... and then 180GB of System. No music, videos or photos

How much space is showing as used by "iCloud Drive"
That's likely where your music, videos, and photos are kept (and already there in the cloud, not on your hard drive at all)
