Signal Strength On Jb 3.1.2

So i just upgraded my firmware from 3.0 to 3.1.2. Its jailbroken so i can use the phone through T-mobile but now the signal stinks... Is there anything I can do to boost it... its really annoying and the only reason why i upgraded it was so i could get my mms to work again!

ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Well it could be you have shotty service IN your area. T-Mobile doesn't use 850Mhz only 1900 which suffers with penetration through walls and the like.

But when i had the 3.0 firmware there wasn't a problem but as soon as I upgraded it got totally crappy!
